Nutrition has been my passion since I was 14 years old. I grew up in a house where food was not the main focus. We ate to survive that was it? In high school I became involved in competitive swimming and water polo. I then learned to lift weights in the weight room where the football players worked out. With all of these new changes nutrition could not be ignored.
After high school I moved to Salt Lake City and completed both my Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science and Health and Master?s degree in Nutrition at the University of Utah.
I have been a Registered Dietitian for 5 years and hold certifications in diabetes education and adult weight management. I have a great interest in sports Nutrition and see how it can impact a person's life on a daily basis.
My nutrition philosophy is "Realistic nutrition for every person." I will look at your current eating patterns and help you to make the changes to achieve your goals. Not fad diets, not one plan for every person. Real food for real people. Food that tastes good and is good for you!!
